This August, we enjoy a fascinating local excursion to two botanical gems near Bristol.
We begin the day with a visit to Jekka’s Herb Farm, aiming to arrive at 10:00am. Jekka McVicar’s award-winning organic herb farm is home to the UK’s most extensive collection of culinary and medicinal herbs. We’ll enjoy a guided experience around the gardens and have the opportunity to learn more about herb growing and their many uses.
In the afternoon, we continue to the Bristol Botanic Gardens. Our visit includes a guided tour of the grounds, which house an impressive array of plant collections from around the world, including Mediterranean, tropical, and pollinator-friendly gardens.
The cost of this outing is £49.00, including coach travel, entrance, and the guided tour at Bristol Botanic Gardens.
