Houghton Lodge Gardens & Wilton House - Thursday 22nd May 2025
We are delighted to begin our 2025 garden visits with a splendid day out in Hampshire and Wiltshire.
Our morning will be spent at the charming Houghton Lodge Gardens in Stockbridge. This riverside haven is home to a beautiful walled kitchen garden, graceful topiary, tranquil water meadows, and an outstanding collection of seasonal plants and bulbs. We will arrive at approximately 10:30am and enjoy coffee, tea and biscuits on arrival.
In the afternoon, we travel to Wilton House near Salisbury. This grand historic estate, the seat of the Earls of Pembroke, boasts exceptional architecture, beautifully landscaped gardens, and a notable collection of fine art within the house. Lunch will be available to purchase at Wilton House, and there will be ample time to explore both the house and the grounds at your leisure.
The cost of this full-day excursion is £56.00, which includes return coach travel, entrance to both properties, and refreshments on arrival at Houghton Lodge Gardens.
